전남대병원은 26일 개교 50주년 기념으로 '수지상세포를 이용한 암면역치료' 국제심포지엄을 개최할 예정이다.

이날 행사는 오전 9시30분부터 병원 6동 7층 강당에서 열리며 강의는 Molecular analysis of dendritic cells using cDNA subtraction and microarray analysis(한남대 배용수), DC mediated bi-directional communication between CTL, NK, and
Th cells(미 Pittsburgh 대학 Pawel Kalinski) 등이다.

이어 The role of dendritic cells during the switch of naive Thelper cells towards the Th1 and Th2 phenotype(독일 Research center Borstel Masao Takei), CpG DNAinhibits dendritic cell apoptosis by upregulating cellular inhibitor of apoptosis proteins(cIAPs) through the phosphatidylinositide- 3-OH kinase(PI3K) pathway(포항공대 이승우) 등이 이어진다.

또 Cancer immunotherapy using genetically modified dendritic cells(일본 Tokushima 대학 Yasuhiko Nishioka), Improvement of cancer immunotherapy by using dendritic cells into which antigens were loaded by electroporation or intratumoral injection into irradiated tumor(부산의대 강치덕), Defective dendritic cells in cancer(고신의대 이상호) 등의 발표가 예정돼 있다.
